A note about adopting retired breeder dogs...PLEASE READ!

Most retired breeder dogs have spent their entire lives in a kennel. Some are more sociable than others at first, but even the shy ones will respond to love and a gentle voice after a while. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing one of these babies go from living their lives in a cage only to have babies to becoming a much loved pet.

Please understand that a dog from a breeding kennel will most likely not be housebroken so you should expect to house train them. Some learn quickly while other require more time and patience. They have also never seen a collar or leash. Adopting a retired breeder is often a challenge, but the rewards definitely make it worth it!
