Most retired breeder dogs have spent their entire lives in a kennel. Some are more sociable than others at first, but even the shy ones will respond to love and a gentle voice after a while. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing one of these babies go from living their lives in a cage only to have babies to becoming a much loved pet.
Please understand that a dog from a breeding kennel will most likely not be housebroken so you should expect to house train them. Some learn quickly while other require more time and patience.
